Minnesota Twins All-Star second baseman Brian Dozier has found himself in the baseball news cycle frequently this offseason, amid a flurry of trade rumors. The 29-year-old is coming off his best MLB season, where he hit a whopping 42 home runs, establishing a new American League record for second basemen. Despite all of Dozier's great individual success in 2016, the Twins lost a team record 103 games.

The 59-year-old Gibson is a Michigan guy through and through, having been born in Pontiac and raised in the Oakland County township of Waterford. Gibson would go on to star at Michigan State, where he exceled in both baseball and football.
Friday, an incredible five million people turned out to witness the world champion Chicago Cubs victory parade and subsequent rally. The parade began at Wrigley Field (on Chicago's North Side), continued through downtown Chicago and culminated with a mega celebration in the city’s Grant Park.
