Hunter just completed his 19th and perhaps final MLB season with the team he started with, the Twins. In 2015, Hunter hit 22 home runs and drove in 81 runs. After beginning his career in Minnesota, Hunter’s baseball life included stints with the Angels and Tigers, before returning to where it all began.

Though the A's have struggled in 2015, Gray continues to produce at an incredibly high level.  Entering Tuesday's start, the Tennessee native is 12-7, with an outstanding 2.36 ERA and 1.00 WHIP.

During his three MLB seasons, Gray owns a record of 31-20, with a 2.74 ERA and 1.11 WHIP.

Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias is in his fourth MLB season (missed all of 2014 with shin injury). Iglesias started his career in the Red Sox organization, before getting traded to the Tigers in 2013, as part of the Jake Peavy deal. This season, Iglesias is batting .302, with 22 RBI and 11 SB.  Iglesias was named an All-Star reserve, earlier this season.

Glen Perkins Signing Autographs (Video)

Minnesota Twins closer Glen Perkins is in his ninth full MLB season. Perkins has quietly become one of baseball's best closers, earning three straight All-Star game appearances, amid saving the American League's last two All-Star Game victories.

Going into Wednesday's action, Perkins has recorded an AL leading 31 saves, while compiling a 2.66 ERA, for the 59-60 Twins.

The lefty departed the Twins series at the New York Yankees Tuesday, returning to Minnesota for further tests on a troublesome neck. 

Reggie Miller & Mark Jackson At Charity Game (Video)

Last Friday, NBA greats Reggie Miller and Mark Jackson played the role of celebrity coaches in a charity game hosted by Jackson. The “Shoot For The Stars Basketball Game” was played at El Camino Real Charter High School, in the Los Angeles suburb of Woodland Hills.

Chris Capuano is a journeyman MLB pitcher in his 11th season (missed 2 full seasons due to injury). Capuano has played for 6 clubs, most recently with the Yankees, before getting designated for assignment on Wednesday. The Massachusetts native and Duke alum has 76 career wins and a 4.31 ERA.

Don't feel too bad for Cano though, considering that he joined the Mariners after inking a much publicized 10-year/$240 million deal.

Almost exactly one year ago today, Austin Jackson was traded from the Detroit Tigers to the Seattle Mariners. The three-way deal also involved the Tampa Bay Rays.
