For many years, the Los Angeles stop on the PGA Tour has taken place at the legendary Riviera Country Club, in the upscale West LA neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. Wednesday, the now Northern Trust Open hosted its Pro-Am day and iFolloSports.com was on hand to cover the scene. Below is part two of our series of original videos.
37-year-old Floridian Bubba Watson signing after the completion of his round. Watson won The Masters in both 2012 and 2014, amid 8 total PGA Tour wins. The lefty swinger won the Northern Trust Open in 2014.
World Golf Hall of Famer Fred Couples signing during his trek to the driving range. The 56-year-old boasts of 15 PGA Tour victories, including the 1992 Masters, as well as the 1990 and 1992 versions of the Northern Trust (then called The Nissan Los Angeles Open). The Seattle native lives 56 miles south of Riviera, on the grounds of the Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, California.
31-year-old South Carolina native Dustin Johnson signing just off the 18th green. The 9-time PGA Tour winner is in a relationship with Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of NHL royalty Wayne Gretzky. Johnson’s amateur group included Paulina Gretzky’s mother Janet Jones and brother Tristan.
