Baseball's Best Team Resides In Baltimore?

Orioles 14 consecutive losing seasonsThe Baltimore Orioles defeated the Kansas City Royals 5-3 Thursday night, improving their record to 25-14, heading into Friday's interleague matchup versus the Washington Nationals.

With the victory, Baltimore became the first team in the Major Leagues to win 25 games.

The Birds are a stunning 13-5 on the road.

Baltimore was the preseason choice to finish last in the AL East. Meanwhile, the traditional powers from New York and Boston are fourth and fifth respectively at the quarter pole and are fighting it out for last place.

Do you think even Buck Showalter can believe this?

Since winning the AL East in 1997, the Orioles have compiled 14 consecutive losing seasons, winning 70 games or fewer in each of the previous six seasons.

Baltimore's last appearance in the World Series took place way back in 1983, when the Orioles defeated the Phillies 4 games to 1.
