Chris Sale Spotted Amid Suddenly Sore Arm (Photo)

Chris Sale is a starting pitcher for the Chicago White Sox, playing in his third season. Sale, a Lakeland, Florida native, was relatively unknown during his first two years, with 2012 serving as his breakout campaign.

At the All-Star break, Sale had a 10-2 record and a paltry 2.19 ERA, earning him a selection to his first All-Star Game. Sale's record now stands at an impressive 12-3, with a 2.61 ERA, heading into a 10-day rest period due to arm fatigue.

The former first round pick's performance is a big reason why the Sox have a 2.5 game lead over the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central Division.

Sale's success has made him a pretty well known figure among baseball fans. Tuesday, per the above iFolloSports.com original photo, Sale stopped to sign a few autographs outside of the W Hotel Minneapolis, a few hours prior to the White Sox game at Target Field.
