Colby Rasmus Signing His Name In NYC (Video)

The day after blasting a ninth inning, three-run go-ahead homerun against the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Colby Rasmus hit the streets of Manhattan, while first stopping to sign autographs and pose for photos with a gathering of Big Apple baseball fans.

Rasmus has struggled in the batting average category this season, but has produced pretty solidly in the HR and RBI department. The former Cardinal has tallied 21 big flies, while driving in 69 runs.

During this trip to New York City, the New York Palace Hotel is Toronto's lodging destination of choice.

Located at 455 Madison Ave, this luxury property is situated eight miles south of Yankee Stadium, which sits in the south Bronx. All of the Blue Jays players and coaches, including Rasmus, were transported to the ballpark either via car service or taxi cab.

In addition, Jays fans can take a look at iFolloSports.com original video of Rasmus signing for fans at Target Field in Minneapolis, earlier this season.

Based on these two examples, it appears that Rasmus' reverence for fans is strong, no matter what MLB city he is passing through.
