David “Big Papi” Ortiz is the All-Star designated hitter for the Boston Red Sox. Ortiz has been a big part of the Red Sox three World Series titles, since 2004, with his clutch postseason hitting most recently earning him 2013 World Series MVP honors. Ortiz, who is now in his 18th MLB season, has hit 440 home runs, while helping to break the Red Sox' dreaded “Curse of the Bambino.”
Tuesday afternoon, while the Red Sox were in Minnesota to play the Twins at Target Field, the above iFolloSports.com original video shows Ortiz signing for a large group of fans outside of The Grand Hotel Minneapolis, in downtown Minneapolis.
Later in the evening, Ortiz tallied 4 hits and 4 RBI's, in the Red Sox 8-6 loss to Ortiz's original team.
