Dennis Eckersley Signing After ALDS (Photo)

Sunday, the Orioles completed a three-game sweep of the Tigers, at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit. After the game, Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Eckersley, who was the color commentator for the TBS broadcast, took time to sign autographs outside the stadium.

Above is an iFolloSports.com original photo of the happening, captured by Michigan based correspondent Lance Martinez, who attended the contest.

Until Mariano Rivera came along, Eckersley for a long time was considered the best relief pitcher in baseball history. Not only was Eckersley a great closer (390 career saves), but he also won 197 games as a starting pitcher, before being turned into a reliever.

In addition to his work for TBS, the now 60-year-old provides commentary for the Red Sox on NESN.
