Dodgers All-Star Justin Turner Appearing In Santa Monica (Video)

Here is iFolloSports.com original video of Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Justin Turner signing autographs, Tuesday, during an appearance at the T-Mobile store, on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California.

Turner has not played since Thursday, after getting hit in the right thumb by a pitch. In addition to his thumb issue, Turner has been dealing with a stomach bug.

During his few days away from the diamond, the Long Beach (CA) native was named the 2017 Roy Campanella Award winner. This annual honor is given to the player that best epitomizes the leadership and qualities of the legendary Brooklyn Dodgers catcher.

This season, Turner is hitting .321, with 21 HR and 70 RBI, amid taking the field in 125 games.  In July, the now 32-year-old was selected to his first All-Star Game.

Turner’s 2017 comes off a 2016 campaign where he posted a .275 BA, with 27 blasts and 90 runs driven in. LA rewarded Turner’s production, during the offseason, upon inking him to a four-year/$64 million deal.

Turner attended Mayfair High School in the LA County city of Lakewood (CA). Mayfair sits 22 miles southwest of Dodger Stadium.
