Sunday, it was Star Wars Day at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Even this monumental event could not help the hitting-challenged Giants. San Francisco fell seven full games behind Arizona, after a 4-1 loss.
The Giants came into the game hitting .218 with runners in scoring position, the worst average in baseball.

Entering Tuesday's slate of games, the Giants still remain seven back of the surprising Diamondbacks.
