A Fan's Review Of Citizens Bank Park (Photos)

Recently, an iFolloSports.com contributor sat in the terrace level at the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. On this evening, the Phillies hosted the Cleveland Indians.

The contributor described the park as having a retro look, similar to many new ballparks he's visited, most notably Busch Stadium in St. Louis. As the above original photos show, the venue possesses a very large geographical foot print, even though the playing field is considered a band box, highly conducive to home runs.

Due to the stadium's South Philadelphia location (three miles south of Center City Philadelphia), the contributor was impressed with the large parking lot, which allowed for easy accessibility, despite the ballpark residing within the Philadelphia city limits.

Citizens Bank Park is part of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, the site of every Philly pro team's home venue.

The contributor was really pleased with the facility's food, particularly the homage paid to local fare, especially of course, the cheesesteak. The only downside of the dining experience was the continual existence of long lines.

As for the game, the Phillies defeated the Indians 6-2, in what turned out to be a very enjoyable evening of baseball.
