Former Pitching Great Jack Morris Signing Autographs | Video

Below is iFolloSports.com original video of former MLB pitcher/current Twins TV analyst Jack Morris signing autographs at a Twin Cities Dave & Busters, Thursday evening. The event was held in conjunction with Crave Sports Company.

The Jack Morris autograph gathering generated a nice crowd.

Morris took the mound from 1977-1994 and was one of the best pitchers of his time and arguably the best of the 1980's. He is most remembered for his days with the Tigers, where he won 198 games, made six All-Star appearances and helped Detroit to the 1984 World Series championship.

The St. Paul, Minnesota native came back home as a free agent in 1991, later serving as a key component in the Twins 1991 World Series win. Morris’ Game 7, 10-inning shutout performance remains one of the greatest feats in baseball history. Morris was named series MVP, amid Minnesota’s dramatic Fall Classic triumph over the Atlanta Braves

All told for his career, Morris won four World Series, including two with the Blue Jays, in the two years that followed his Minnesota win.

The now 62-year-old totaled 254 wins, with a 3.90 ERA. Morris, who many people believe should be in the Hall of Fame, was unsuccessful in his 15th and final year of eligibility back in 2014. He does get another crack at it with the veterans committee this year.
