A Glimpse Of Derek Jeter Receiving Retirement Gift & Warming Up (Videos)

Derek Jeter retirement ceremony Target FieldLast Saturday, Derek Jeter was honored at Target Field, prior to the Yankees matchup with the Twins. In another down year for Minnesota, honoring Jeter represents one of the lone highlights so far in 2014. In Jeter's final regular season appearance in Minneapolis, the Twins gifted the Yankee legend with the last second base ever used at their old stadium, the now torn down Metrodome.

Below are iFolloSports.com original videos of the presentation, as well as a portion of Jeter's pregame routine.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire (also present in the above video) jokes about honoring Jeter by hoping he sits out the remaining games of the series. The two then embrace.
