Ian Kinsler Signing Autograph | Video
Over the offseason, the Detroit Tigers executed a much talked about blockbuster trade, when electing to send Prince Fielder to the Texas Rangers, in exchange for Ian Kinsler. Kinsler, a Tucson native, began his career with the Rangers in 2006, making three All-Star appearances, while helping take Texas to consecutive World Series in 2010 and 2011.
Going into Friday night, the 31-year-old 2B has 7 home runs and 32 RBI, during his first season in Motown.
Earlier this week, Michigan based iFolloSports.com contributor Lance Martinez captured the above original video mix of Kinsler appearing at DetroitCitySports, in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Kinsler signed autographs, for nearly an hour, while also posing for pictures with a large gathering of fans.
A shot at an Ian Kinsler autograph drew a large crowd to the suburban Detroit mall.
With Prince Fielder slated to miss the remainder of the season (neck injury), thus far, the Tigers may have gotten the better part of this All-Star for All-Star transaction.
