iFolloSports.com Photo Contest: Dale Murphy

As part of iFolloSports.com's ongoing photo submission contest, Michael Pierce submitted the above old school photo with former MLB star Dale Murphy.

Pierce first met and got this picture with Murphy, then of the Atlanta Braves, back in 1978, a few days before his 10th birthday. Pierce is on the left of Murphy, with his younger brother positioned on the right.

Pierce would go on to meet Murphy, on a couple more occasions, getting Murphy's autograph on cards, posters and even a cracked bat.

For those who need reminding, Murphy played 18 MLB seasons, 15 of which in Atlanta. He won the NL MVP twice (1982, 1983), while appearing in 7 All-Star Games.
