Justin Morneau Signing For Charity (Video)

Justin Morneau played for the Minnesota Twins, from 2003-2013, before getting traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates, at the end of this past August. Morneau, who is currently a free agent, is rumored to be in talks with multiple teams, with the Rockies reportedly being one of his biggest suitors. During his time with the Twins, Morneau's résumé featured four All-Star appearances, as well as the 2006 AL MVP award.

This past Saturday morning, iFolloSports.com captured the above original video of Morneau signing autographs at Fan HQ Sports Apparel And Collectables, in the Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, Minnesota.

This is the fourth straight year that Morneau has been involved with the Winter Warm-Up Coat Drive. This year, with the help of Fan HQ, more than 1,500 coats were donated to The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, Minneapolis.

Here is additional video of Morneau signing his signature last year, on behalf of the very same cause. The British Columbia native and longtime Minnesota fan favorite appears to be both a likable and charitable ballplayer, who possesses a strong believe in giving back to the community.
