Keith Hernandez Signing Autographs

Above is original video of 5-time MLB All-Star Keith Hernandez signing autographs at the 13th Annual “In the Spirit of the Game” gala, held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Hernandez is considered one of the greatest defensive 1B in baseball history, winning 11 Gold Gloves during his 17 big league seasons, spent mostly with the Cardinals and Mets. Hernandez won the 1979 NL MVP and 1982 World Series while playing in St. Louis.

After arriving in New York City in 1983, Hernandez enhanced his national standing when serving as a key member of the famous 1986 Mets world championship team. Hernandez’s notoriety led to a series of television appearances, most notably appearing as himself on both an early and the very last episode of “Seinfeld.”

His "I'm Keith Hernandez" internal thought is perhaps the most memorable scene in the 2-part early episode.

The San Francisco native is the longtime color commentator for Mets television broadcasts.

With his many decades in and around baseball, a Keith Hernandez autograph remains a big get for fans.
