Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports gathered this original photo of Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer signing autographs, during a recent visit to downtown Detroit's Comerica Park.
Fans were thrilled to get their hands on a Chris Archer autograph.
Archer has spent every one of his eight MLB seasons in St. Petersburg, earning two All-Star appearances in both 2015 and 2017.
The North Carolina native has played on many low budget, less talented teams, which has greatly contributed to Archer not posting a winning record, in any of his big league seasons. For his career, Archer has a mark of 53-65, with a 3.71 ERA.
In eight starts this season, Archer owns a 2-2 record, with a 5.32 ERA, for the 15-19, fourth place Rays.
