A Look At Billy Butler's Sprawling Scottsdale Pad (Photos)
During his eight seasons with the Royals, DH/1B Billy Butler has put together a solid career, despite toiling in relative anonymity, amid an often under the radar Kansas City club. This season, of course, Butler's team has escaped mediocrity, advancing to the World Series for the first time since 1985.
While Butler's team has not always been the most successful, the Florida native's consistent level of production has provided him a very comfortable life, enhanced greatly by his four-year/$30 million contract.
With this level of wealth in mind, here is a look at the real estate listing (with photos) of Butler's North Scottsdale, Arizona home, which was recently put on the market for just shy of $2.3 million. Located in the Pinnacle Peak area, the mansion sits 26 miles north of downtown Phoenix and 32 miles east of the Royals' Surprise (AZ) spring training complex.
The 5,872-square-foot home (built in 2007) features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, outdoor kitchen and a four-car garage.
In addition, the nearly one-acre property boasts a pool, spa, grotto, waterslide, multiple fireplaces and a fire bowl.
In case you are wondering, Butler paid $1.925 million for the home, back in 2011.
