A Look At The Orange County Home Of Albert Pujols (Photos)
Los Angeles Angels 1B/DH Albert Pujols arrived in Southern California in 2012, departing the Cardinals for a 10-year/$240 million payday with the Angels. After winning two World Series, three NL MVP’s and appearing in nine All-Star Games, during his 11-year run of greatness in the Midwest, the Pujols family decided it was time to shake things up and relocate to the West Coast.
Pujols’ first four years in Anaheim have not matched his consistent stellar play in St. Louis, though he did once again become an All-Star in 2015, amid a season where he blasted 40 homeruns.
For his career, the future hall of famer has belted 560 long balls.
Off the field, the Pujols family has been getting their rest at a spectacular 9,239-square-foot home in the Orange County city of Irvine, California. Recently, the family placed the mansion on the market for $7.75 million.
Located in the Shady Canyon gated golf community, the indoor/outdoor living space features 5 bedrooms, a large open concept kitchen, screening room with wet bar, gym, pool, hot tub and picturesque canyon views.
The Shady Canyon community sits 16 miles southwest of Angel Stadium, 47 miles from downtown Los Angeles and a 7-mile drive to the Pacific Ocean.
In addition to living in a beautiful home, Pujols is also a fan of luxury automobiles. Check him out in an Art Deco Rolls Royce, courtesy of this iFolloSports.com original video.
