A Look At The "Tip A Tiger” Charity Event (Video)

On June 5, the Detroit Tigers held the Fourth Annual “Tip A Tiger” event, at CJ Mahoney's Sports Bar & Grille, in the Detroit suburb of Troy. Tigers' players, broadcast personalities and team affiliates worked as servers and bartenders, with all of the evening's proceeds going to the Detroit Tigers Foundation, Joe Nathan's Save It Foundation and Joba Chamberlain's Delivering Dreams Foundation.

In addition to Nathan and Chamberlain, other notable Tigers in attendance included 2013 American League Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer, fellow starting pitcher Rick Porcello, lefty reliever  Phil Coke, as well as former Tiger players/current team broadcasters Craig Monroe and Rod Allen.

In addition, many Tiger wives also took part in the festivities.
