Mike Shannon's Is St. Louis' Center Of World Series Activity

Mike Shannon's Steak & Seafood 2011 World SeriesAs the 2011 World Series returns to St. Louis for a guaranteed Game 6 and a potential Game 7, Mike Shannon's Steak & Seafood will once again become the center of baseball life in downtown St. Louis. Located one block north of Busch Stadium, this St. Louis dining institution, owned by former Cardinal player and longtime radio broadcaster Mike Shannon, has been hopping with baseball and media bigwigs during the entirety of the postseason.

Some of the big names spotted over the last few days have included FOX's Joe Buck and Tim McCarver, ESPN's Orel Hershiser, Rick Sutcliffe and Aaron Boone, as well as Sirius XM host Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo.

With Wednesday night's game cancelled, fans have at least one extra day to wander into Mike Shannon's and rub elbows with baseball high society. From what we hear, the foods pretty good too.
