Molina, Freese & Wainwright Signing Autographs In NYC (Videos)

Now in the third month of the 2013 MLB season, the always respectable St. Louis Cardinals once again find themselves at the peak of the baseball mountaintop. Entering Thursday, the 2006 and 2011 world champions possess the most overall wins, as well as the highest winning percentage of any team in the sport. The combination of strong leadership, a glorious history (11 World Series victories) and a loyal and knowledgeable fan base has developed the Cardinals into one of baseball's most sought-after destinations for players. Simply put, the iconic Midwestern franchise knows what the heck they are doing.

Wednesday, the Cards were in New York City for the second game of a three-game series versus the Mets. iFolloSports.com was on hand to cover the team, as they departed the New York Palace hotel, in Midtown Manhattan. The luxury property sits 11 miles west of Citi Field, which is located in Queens, adjacent to LaGuardia Airport.

Below is a look at some of what took place.

Yadier Molina, the St. Louis starting catcher/arguably the franchise's best all-around player, signing autographs, before boarding the charter bus. Molina currently leads the National League in hitting.

Adam Wainwright signing autographs for an extended period. The 6-7 righty's nine wins ties him for the league lead in that category.
