Already in his 13th MLB season, Jones began his career with the Mariners, all the way back in 2006.

After the 2007 season, Jones was the centerpiece of the trade that sent him east to the Orioles, in exchange for Erik Bedard. Bedard played 3.5 injury plagued seasons in the Pacific Northwest, while Jones has been performing at a high level in Baltimore, in every year since.

Jones’ résumé includes five-time All-Star Games, along with four Gold Gloves.

Entering Tuesday, the San Diego native has amassed 256 HR and 832 RBI, for his career.

Amid the Orioles terrible 8-26 record, to start the 2018 campaign, the 32-year-old has totaled 5 HR and 17 RBI.
