Brock Holt | Pirates and Red Sox Fan Favorite | Photo

Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports captured this original photo of Red Sox infielder/outfielder Brock Holt singing autographs at the Pirates’ Grapefruit League stadium, LECOM Park in Bradenton, Florida.

Holt is now in his seventh MLB season, after starting his career with the Pirates in 2012. His best years came in 2014 and 2015, with the ’15 campaign being the setting for the now 29-year-old’s first and only All-Star appearance.

A Brock Holt autograph was definitely of interest to fans, on this day. 

For his career, the Fort Worth, Texas native has a total of 13 homeruns and 129 RBI, amid batting .265.

After a disappointing 2017 season, in which Holt missed significant time due to concussion issues, both he and Boston are hoping for a bounce back in 2018. 

Thus far in Grapefruit League play, the Rice alum has 5 hits and 2 RBI in 14 AB.
