Reds Top Prospect Hunter Greene At Beverly Hills Baseball Gala (Video)

Here is iFolloSports.com original video of Cincinnati Reds first round pick Hunter Greene at last weekend’s 15th Annual In the Spirit of the Game dinner, held at the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California.

The 18-year-old Los Angeles area native starred at Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, CA), as both a pitcher and shortstop. During his senior season, a Greene pitch was clocked at a whopping 102 MPH. In addition, Greene claimed victory in the Junior Homerun Derby at the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.

Greene’s accomplishments earned him a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The Reds selected the Stevenson Ranch, California resident (30 miles north of Beverly Hills) with the second pick in the 2017 draft. Greene was immediately assigned to the minor league Billings Mustangs, where he started three games on the mound, while coming to bat on 30 occasions.
