Ronald Reagan Day At Wrigley Field

Ronald Reagan Day Wrigley FieldAs part of the celebration of Ronald Reagan's centennial birthday, Saturday was Ronald Reagan Day at Wrigley Field, when the Cubs hosted the Reds.

Even Reagan would have been too young to see the Cubbies win their last World Series in 1908.

The Illinois native was a baseball announcer, early in his career, before moving to Hollywood.

Reagan's eldest son Michael threw out the ceremonial first pitch and led fans in the traditional singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch.

It is a shame that a Reagan bobblehead doll was not part of the celebration.
