Ryan Dempster Once Again Shows His Quirky Side (Videos)

Ryan Dempster is a veteran pitcher in his first year with the Boston Red Sox. Boston is Demspter's fifth team in his 16 MLB seasons. Dempster made his name playing for the Chicago Cubs (2004-2012), before getting traded to the Texas Rangers, late last year.

The British Columbia native has always been known as a character and rather goofy guy, especially when impersonating Harry Caray. Dempster is also known to be very fan friendly, as this iFolloSports.com original video from last season displays.

The latest interesting aspect of Mr. Dempster's life took place as he warmed up at Target Field, prior to a recent start against the Minnesota Twins. The bellow iFolloSports.com original video shows the 36-year-old long tossing with his catcher, followed by a series of very hard throws, as Dempster walked even closer to his receiver. From the outfield stands, this sight was a pretty interesting spectacle.

On this night, Dempster got a no decision, when going 4.2 innings and giving up 5 runs, as the Red Sox beat the Twins 12-5.
