Recently, the Deluxe Signature Collection collectables company provided iFolloSports.com with this photo of legendary Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda signing autographs outside of the club’s spring training home, Camelback Ranch, in Glendale, Arizona.
Dodger fans waited in a very long line for the coveted Tommy Lasorda signature.
Amid a franchise filled with so much history, Lasorda, along with iconic announcer Vin Scully, stand as arguably the organization’s two most popular figures, dating back to when the team relocated to LA in 1958. Lasorda managed the Dodgers from 1976-1996, guiding teams to four Fall Classics and two World Series titles (1981 and 1988). Health issues forced him to retire in 1996. Since his managerial career concluded, Lasorda has worked as both an executive and adviser to the team.
