Where is the House That Ruth Built?

The original Yankee Stadium, which was demolished last year after the new Yankee Stadium was completed, is resting comfortably in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, near Scranton. That is, in an abandoned mine site which is being reclaimed with construction debris. The stadium was built in 1923 and was New York's home for 86 years. It was closed during a two-year hiatus for renovations in 1974-75.  Its demolition was completed last May and its remains were buried shortly thereafter in Hazleton's unused mines.
