Zack Greinke Honing His All-Star Ability (Video)
Hurling in the second year of his six-year/$147 million contract, Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke appears to have found a home in LA. After a sometimes tumultuous seven-season stint with the Royals, followed by quick stops through Milwaukee and Anaheim, the 30-year-old Florida native has achieved his greatest career success, in the heart of the nation's second largest city.
This season, Greinke has a 15-8 record, with a 2.64 ERA. In 2013, the righty compiled a 15-4 mark, with a 2.63 ERA. Remarkably, Grienke's LA ERA stands nearly a full run lower than his career average.
All told, the 2009 AL Cy Young Award Winner (with KC) has amassed 15 or more wins, on 5 separate occasions.
Recently, iFolloSports.com captured the above original video of Greinke conducting a bullpen session, with Dodgers pitching coach Rick Honeycutt. The scene took place in the Dodger Stadium LF pen.
