Kemba Walker signing before Sweet 16 win (video)
UCONN All-American Kemba Walker has been one of the most talked about players in college basketball this season. The junior guard's stock rose even higher after he almost single-handedly guided his team to a miraculous Big East Tournament championship. After hitting the game winner vs. Pittsburgh, during the quarterfinals at Madison Square Garden, Walker's incredible play has continued all the way through the Huskies' 74-67 Sweet 16 victory over San Diego State at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Walker scored 36 points, including 22 points in the second half. The Bronx native never took a breather, playing all 40 minutes of the game. His star once again shined the brightest. 2.5 hours prior to the game, Walker stopped to sign autographs for some very excited fans, while him and his teammates boarded the charter bus for the arena. The group of fans brought poster prints of Walker's Sports Illustrated cover, with the hope that Kemba would stop to sign for them. The very mild mannered and understated college star obliged and definitely made their day, as seen on this ifollosports.com video.
