Paul Menard Signing At MN Store (Photos & Video)
Paul Menard is in his sixth full season as a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, currently competing for Richard Childress Racing. Prior to joining NASCAR's grandest stage, Menard participated in the Busch Series, driving the Menards Chevrolet No. 33 car. Before that, Menard drove for Andy Petree Racing in the Busch Craftsman Truck Series.
In 2006, Menard won the Nationwide Series AT&T 250 at Milwaukee Mile (WI), his first career victory. The highlight of his Sprint Cup career thus far, took place in 2011, when he captured the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Menard, who drives the Menards/NIBCO No. 27 Chevrolet car, is currently ranked eleventh in the 2012 Sprint Cup Standings.
Paul Menard grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the son of Jon Menard Jr., founder of the very successful Menards chain of home improvement stores in the Upper Midwest. The Menards brand is the lead sponsor for the No.27 car.
