Paul Menard Signing At MN Store (Photos & Video)

Paul Menard is in his sixth full season as a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, currently competing for Richard Childress Racing. Prior to joining NASCAR's grandest stage, Menard participated in the Busch Series, driving the Menards Chevrolet No. 33 car. Before that, Menard drove for Andy Petree Racing in the Busch Craftsman Truck Series.

In 2006, Menard won the Nationwide Series AT&T 250 at Milwaukee Mile (WI), his first career victory. The highlight of his Sprint Cup career thus far, took place in 2011, when he captured the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Menard, who drives the Menards/NIBCO No. 27 Chevrolet car, is currently ranked eleventh in the 2012 Sprint Cup Standings.

Paul Menard grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the son of Jon Menard Jr., founder of the very successful Menards chain of home improvement stores in the Upper Midwest. The Menards brand is the lead sponsor for the No.27 car.

Above are original photos from an appearance Paul Menard made at the newest Menards store in the Twin Cities suburb of Golden Valley, Minnesota. The photos show his No. 27 car, as well as Menard signing autographs for a large group of fans.

Also, here is original video of Menard interacting with the same gathering of fans at the well attended event. This appearance occurred only two days after he raced in the Auto Club 400, at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, where he finished nineteenth.

In addition to the Menard coverage, take a look at recent original up close video, chronicling Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth and racing icon Jeff Gordon.  Both appearances took place in Los Angeles.
