Andrew Bynum Equals Giant Killer (Photo)

During the recently concluded, lockout-shortened NBA season, Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum put together the best regular season of his seven-year career, averaging 18.7 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

The seven-footer has kept it going in the postseason, averaging a very impressive 17.2 points, 12 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in the 10 games the Lakers have competed in, heading into Saturday's Game 4 at home versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Based on his sheer size (7-0. 285 lbs.) and suddenly outstanding numbers, particularly in an NBA that is lacking depth at the center position, Bynum clearly believes that he is a force to be reckon with in the low post.

Evidence of this feeling is on display when taking a look at the signage present on the front of his BMW M6.

Per the above iFolloSports.com original photo, Bynum's G-Power vehicle has the words “Giant Killer” posted in the spot where a front license plate would normally reside.

This picture was taken a few hours prior to the Lakers Game 3 matchup with OKC, as Bynum was exiting the Toyota Sports Center (Lakers practice facility) in El Segundo (CA).

Bynum's use of the phrase “Giant Killer” is an interesting choice of words, when considering that his most famous on court altercation involved the roughing up of then Dallas Maverick, now Minnesota Timberwolves guard J.J. Barea.

At 6-0 and 175 lbs., Barea comes in a full foot shorter and 100 pounds lighter than the gigantic LA big man.

Maybe Bynum considers Barea a giant because of the little man's ongoing relationship with Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera.

Who knows?

About a year and a half prior to Friday's photo, Bynum, a known lover of fast cars, stopped to sign autographs while driving his Porsche 911 turbo out of the very same parking lot.
