Ben Wallace Signing On Historic Day (Photos)

Former NBA star Ben Wallace was one of the most dominant defensive players of his generation. Wallace, who is best known for his time with the Pistons, was a four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and five-time NBA All-Defensive First Team selection. The four-time All-Star helped lead the Pistons upset over the heavily favored Lakers in the 2004 NBA Finals.
Recently, iFolloSports.com Michigan based correspondent Lance Martinez captured this original photo of Wallace signing autographs at a Detroit Area hotel, prior to game in which the Alabama native’s number was retired by the Pistons (photo below). Wallace, who was one of the most popular players in Pistons history, was all smiles throughout his very memorable day.
