Bill Russell graces Jerry West tribute (video)

One of the highlights of Thursday at NBA All-Star Weekend in LA was the unveiling of a Jerry West statue outside of Staples Center. Among the many luminaries in attendance was the legendary Bill Russell. The greatest winner in basketball history was just a couple days removed from being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama at the White House. The former Celtics player and coach would later receive some playful boos from the assembled group of mostly Lakers fans, after he was announced during the ceremony.  As can be heard on the video, some fans were annoyed at Russell's anti-autograph stance, but everyone seemed to enjoy the sight of one of the greats. In terms of both size and achievement, Russell is as big as it gets.
