Bucks All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Made A Wish Come True
Earlier this week, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo hosted Dimitris Zamanis at both the Bucks’ downtown Milwaukee practice facility and the club’s home arena, BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Antetokounmpo and Zamanis are both natives of Greece. Zamanis made the more than 5,000-mile trip to Wisconsin to meet his hero, thanks to the efforts of the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Zamanis suffers from aplastic anemia, a disease that harms a person’s bone marrow and hematopoietic stem cells.
The 15-year-old called his day with Antetokounmpo the best of his life.
Best day of my life!! I wanna thank @Giannis_An34 @Bucks and @MakeAWishGreece for making my dream come true!! Hope one day i can be like Giannis... pic.twitter.com/EybQaTerkj
