Carmelo Anthony Signing Autographs (Photo)
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is already in his eleventh NBA season. Anthony was originally drafted by the Nuggets in 2003, before getting traded to the Knicks in 2011. The New York native and Baltimore product is averaging 26.1 points and 9.5 rebounds a game this season.
Anthony, who will be a free agent at season's end, will accompany LeBron James as the top players available on the open market. There has been talk of Anthony heading west to play for the Lakers, but the six-time All-Star could still very well re-sign with New York, despite never quite living up to the championship aspirations of both fans and ownership.
Last Tuesday, a Michigan based iFolloSports.com contributor captured the above photo of Anthony, as he signed autographs outside a Birmingham, Michigan hotel, a few hours before the Knicks took on the Pistons. In the Knicks 92-86 loss, Anthony scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
