The Cavaliers Finals Strategy Includes Changing San Francisco Hotels

Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Finals San Francisco hotelTuesday, the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area, in preparation for Thursday night’s Game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals, versus the Golden State Warriors. Upon disembarking from the franchise’s 4.5-hour charter flight to San Francisco International Airport, the Eastern Conference victors headed 14 miles north to downtown San Francisco.

During the Bay Area version of the last two NBA Finals, LeBron James and company got their rest at the Four Seasons hotel, located on SF’s very busy Market Street.

This time around, the Cavs have elected to move three blocks from the Four Seasons, to the slightly more secluded St. Regis San Francisco, situated on 3rd street. The St. Regis sits 15 miles across the bay from Oracle Arena, which is of course located in Oakland.

The Cavs Games 1 and 2 visit to the Bay Area will conclude Sunday night, when the team travels back to Cleveland, upon the completion of Game 2.
