Celtics Fanphoto | Isaiah Thomas Signing Autographs

Here is an original fanphoto of Boston Celtics star point guard Isaiah Thomas signing autographs at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The shot is provided by Lance Martinez from My Detroit Sports.
For three pretty unbelievable reasons, Thomas stands as one of the most unique and unlikely great players in the NBA. No wonder an Isaiah Thomas autograph is a big deal for fans.
1. The 27-year-old ranks as the shortest player in the league at just 5’9.
2. The Washington State native was the very last pick of the 2011 draft. Very few second rounder’s put together successful basketball careers, with even less becoming all-stars.
3. Despite career stats of 17.6 points and 5.1 assists per game, remarkably, Boston is Thomas’ third team. After playing three years with the Kings, Thomas was traded to the Suns in 2014. During the following season’s trade deadline, the former Washington Huskie was sent along to the Celtics.
This season, Thomas is averaging an incredible 26 points, 6.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds per contest. These stats represent a 4-point growth from his impressive season average of 22.2 points per night, during last season.
The little guy from Tacoma is a legitimate NBA star, no doubt about it.
