Damian Lillard Is An All-Star On and Off The Hardwood (Photo)
Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports sent over this original photo of Trail Blazers All-Star point guard Damian Lillard signing autographs at the Pistons and Red Wings new home venue, Little Caesars Arena, in midtown Detroit.
Lillard is easily one of the best and perhaps still most underrated point guards in the NBA. Now in his sixth professional season, the Oakland native’s résumé includes 2013 rookie of the year honors, three All-Star appearances and being a member of the 2016 All-NBA Second Team.
For his career, Lillard has scored 22.8 points and dished out 6.2 assists a game. This season, the Weber State alum is averaging a hugely impressive 26.1 points, 6.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds per contest, for the 32-26 Trail Blazers, who currently sit tied for the sixth spot in the west.
