Dante Exum Hoping To Get His Career Back On Track (Photo)
Lance Martinez of My Detroit Sports sent over this original photo of Jazz guard Dante Exum signing autographs, earlier this season, prior to a game at the Detroit Pistons.
The Jazz selected Exum with the fifth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, out of Australia. For his career, Exum has averaged 5.4 points and 2.1 assists per game.
Unfortunately for Exum, injuries have really hindered his young career. He missed all of the 2015-2016 season, after tearing his ACL while playing for the Australian national team.
The injury woes continued for Exum, during the preseason, when he severely separated his shoulder, which later required surgery. The 22-year-old only returned to action on March 15, averaging six points and two assists in his first two games of the season.
Exum’s return provides a spark for the 40-30, playoff bound Jazz, who have won 21 of their last 23 games.
