The Derrick Rose Enigma Continues To Grow (Video)
Derrick Rose has quickly become one of the best players in the NBA. Last year, at age 22, Rose was named the youngest MVP in league history, while leading the Bulls to the best record in the East and an Eastern Conference Finals appearance.
Rose is now an incredibly popular figure around the league. In every road city, fans have come out in full force to see him up close, with many hoping to obtain the superstar's autograph.
The above ifollosports.com original video displays Rose walking right past fans, as he entered the Target Center in Minneapolis on Tuesday. This clip was captured prior to the Bulls 111-100 victory over the Timberwolves.
During this trip to Minnesota, Rose and the Bulls stayed at the Graves 601 Hotel, located across the street from the arena.
This previous ifollosports.com original video also shows Rose walking right past screaming fans, this time outside of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. This situation took place prior to the Bulls 114-101 win over the Clippers in late December.
Rose's lack of interaction with fans this season is the total opposite of how he handled himself during his last trip to the Twin Cities.
Late April, per this ifollosports.com original video, Rose elected to stop and sign numerous autographs outside of The Grand Hotel Minneapolis.
Rose is still known to be a very standup guy when dealing with media and fans around Chicago. But, as his stature keeps growing, it will be interesting to see if he continues to not acknowledge fans when encountering them outside of the Windy City.
Early on, this appears to be the trend this season.
