Rivers has won 57 and 56 games respectively, during his two seasons at the helm of the Clippers. Despite tremendous regular season success, Rivers’ tenure in LA has not yet seen his team advance past the second round of the Western Conference playoffs, including last season’s historic meltdown against the Houston Rockets.

After retaining DeAndre Jordan, as well as acquiring the likes of Paul Pierce, Lance Stephenson, Josh Smith and Pablo Prigioni, Rivers should have his team in prime position to aggressively pursue an NBA title.  The stacked roster already possesses superstars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, along with perimeter threats JJ Redick and Jamal Crawford.
