Dwight Howard Arriving At Lakers Facility (Video)

Friday, after months and even years of rampant speculation, the Orlando Magic finally traded long disgruntled superstar Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers. The four-team trade also involved the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets, with now former LA center Andrew Bynum serving as the Lakers' main trading chip. He, along with Jason Richardson, ended up in Philadelphia, as Andre Iguodala wound up in Denver, and a slew of less than impressive names and draft picks made their way to the Magic Kingdom.

The Lakers also received Earl Clark and Chris Duhon from the Magic in the deal.

Howard has spent his offseason in Los Angeles, recovering from a back injury. As a result, instead of jetting to LA for an introductory press conference, the seven-foot native of Atlanta could simply hop in an automobile, upon being officially informed of the transaction.

Howard has been staying at the L'Ermitage Beverly Hills hotel, situated on the city's palm tree lined stretch known as Burton Way. The luxury property is located 15 miles north of the Toyota Sports Center (TSC), the Lakers' El Segundo, CA-based practice facility and administrative office location.

Shortly before the Howard/Lakers 5 p.m. PT press conference on Friday, Howard was seen entering the TSC in what appeared to be a brand new white Bentley Mulsanne. Adorning a pair of glasses, Howard waved to a group of excited fans, as he navigated his ride into the gated player parking area.

With the additions of Howard, Steve Nash and Antawn Jamison, to accompany a roster that already includes Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace, the Lakers suddenly possess the most stacked roster in basketball.

What an offseason for the 17-time world champions!
