Dwyane Wade Is Renting An Incredible Chicago Pad This Season (Photos)
After spending 13 hall of fame seasons with the Miami Heat, a stint that included 3 NBA titles and 12 All-Star appearances, Dwyane Wade has returned to his native Chicago, amid signing a 2-year/$47 million deal with the Bulls last summer.
19 games into his first go-around with his hometown team, Wade is averaging 19.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per contest.
This season, the 34-year-old guard is calling a very unique and historic Chicago property home. Wade is renting a 9,000-square-foot abode in the city’s Gold Coast neighborhood, near Lincoln Park and the shores of Lake Michigan. The Wade residence sits 4 miles from Chicago’s Near West Side, the location of both the United Center and The Advocate Center, the Bulls’ arena-adjacent practice facility.
Built in 1883, the $9.5 million pad features 8 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, a 30-foot entry hallway and separate guest quarters. The entire third floor of the home serves as the master bedroom.
In a fun piece of Hollywood trivia, the house was used as the exterior for one of the residences in the 1980’s sitcom “Webster.”

Wade has previously owned homes in the downtown Chicago neighborhood of River North and the south Chicago suburb of South Holland.
He also lays claim to residences in Miami Beach and Los Angeles.
