Early NBA Finals Betting Notes Including A Major Risk By A New Brown
With both the Cavaliers and Warriors winning their conference finals Game 7's, during the last two nights, the franchises will now meet in a professional sports record fourth straight NBA Finals.
With the Warriors big four, particularly Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, the defending champs are the overwhelming favorites over LeBron James and the Cavs.
Some oddsmakers have the Warriors as -1,000 favorites to win the series, the highest total since the Lakers took on the 76ers in 2001. The Warriors are also a -12 point favorite in Game 1, the highest in almost 30 years.
Kind of lost in the shuffle, new Browns defensive back Damarious Randall made his own bet, via his Twitter page. If the Cavaliers pull off this massive upset, he has promised to buy everyone who retweets his post a jersey. So far, there has been more than 500,000 retweets and counting, so he could be on the hook for millions of dollars in apparel.
Randall better hope the Warriors win.
If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I’ll buy everyone who retweet’s this a jersey...
