Eric Gordon Signing Autographs (Video)
Despite being forced to cope with a series of injuries, since joining New Orleans in 2011 (part of the Chris Paul trade), Eric Gordon now finds himself with a golden opportunity to play basketball in the postseason for the first time in his career.
The Pelicans enter their final game of the regular season tied with the Thunder for the eighth and final spot in the ridiculously competitive Western Conference playoff picture. Amid missing 21 games this season (left shoulder injury), the Indiana alum is averaging 13.4 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. The 26-year-old's point totals are down slightly from his career average, but if able to take the court injury free, Gordon can still do a whole lot of damage.
