Clippers Arena RenderingsLast week, the Los Angeles Clippers released the latest renderings of the franchise’s proposed $1 billion arena, scheduled to open for business in 2024.

Located in the LA County city of Inglewood, the 18,500-seat venue will be situated on the very same street as the Rams and Chargers new stadium, along with the adjoining eight-million-square-foot entertainment district. The mega NFL development will house an array of dining, retail, office, residential and performing arts spaces, along with a large luxury hotel. The complex will also be the home base for the NFL Network and NFL.com, as well as other aspects of NFL media.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer’s privately funded palace will feature headquarters for both LA’s basketball and business operations, while also housing the team’s state-of-the-art practice facility.  As it stands now, the Clippers combined basketball operations office and training facility sits in the Playa Vista neighborhood of West Los Angeles, six miles northwest of the proposed arena and 10 miles southwest of Staples Center, located in downtown LA.

At present time, LAC’s business operation is based out of a downtown LA office building, one block east of Staples Center.
