Kaplan Mobray, award-winning motivational speaker and author of "The 10Ks of Personal Branding," provides this photo of he and basketball hall of famer David Robinson. The picture was captured at South Bend International Airport, where Robinson’s son Corey attends nearby Notre Dame. After ending his football career at ND, Corey Robinson currently serves as the school’s student body president.

David Robinson played 14 seasons with the Spurs, amid averaging 21.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.5 assists per game. He was an integral member of two NBA championship teams (1999, 2003), during his legendary days in San Antonio.

The Naval Academy alum’s résumé also includes 10 All-Star appearances, 4 All-NBA First Team selections, 2 Olympic Gold Medals, the 1994 scoring title and 1995 MVP Award.

Simply stated, the now 51-year-old is one of the greatest players ever to pick up a basketball.
